Angela Benita Pistrucci is an award-winning Canadian fine artist, art instructor and interior designer. She specializes in portraiture, sculpture, architectural ceramics, product design and development. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in Canada, Italy and Australia, and she will also be showing work in London, UK during 2017.


Pistrucci has spent the past 15 years studying fine art, and in 2016 spent an intensive scholarship year in Rome, studying the art of Bas Relief at the Istituto Poligrafico de Zecca dello Stato (IPZS). IPZS is considered the world’s preeminent school for relief sculpture, direct engraving, wax modeling, copper enameling and cameo engraving.


Angela Pistrucci comes from a long line of accomplished artists, the most notable being Benedetto Pistrucci (1783-1855) whose work is held in collections around the world, and who produced the original Saint George and the Dragon Modern UK Gold Sovereign design for the Royal Mint in 1817.  Angela is the official designer of the London Mint’s 200th Anniversary Saint George and the Dragon Gold Sovereign 1817-2017.
